3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech via desert

We begin early from Fes, heading south through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, Morocco’s “Little Switzerland,” followed by a visit to Azrou’s cedar forest where you can see wild monkeys. Continuing through Berber towns and valleys, we enjoy lunch in Midelt before driving through the vast Ziz Valley, rich with palm groves. As the sun sets, we arrive in Merzouga. You’ll ride a camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to catch the magical colors of sunset before spending the night in a desert camp under the stars.

After watching the sunrise over the dunes and enjoying breakfast, we leave the desert and travel to Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional souk. Then we pass through Erfoud and head to the dramatic Todra Gorges—towering limestone cliffs perfect for a scenic walk. After lunch, we continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the rose-scented Dades Valley, where you’ll overnight in a charming hotel set between the canyons and gardens.

Today’s journey leads us through cinematic landscapes. We pass through the Valley of Roses and reach Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco, known for its film studios. Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a spectacular ksar used in many famous films. After exploring its maze-like alleys, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. By evening, we arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech, filled with color, culture, and life.
